In the mysterious and surreal zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the fates of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly scattered group of tourists around Winnipeg’s monuments and historical sites. Matthew leaves his pointless job in a Quebec government office and sets off on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identity blur, intertwine, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
