It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both starred in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). I always tend to get nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this cast really pulled it off and hit all the marks. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this as well. Great pacing, just enough suspense, lots of comedic relief. For once, I wasn’t expecting a twist ending, and every story felt like it was resolved in the last episode. I really enjoyed it! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new fast-paced streaming world.
