Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy.. Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew”; plus more stars from a galaxy far, far away.. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young siblings is the same one that Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).. Featured in the cast of AniMat's Crazy Cartoon: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). I watched the first two episodes and although there is a clear attempt to create "goonies in space" point here, what’s wrong with that? This is a much different take on the story that exists in the Star Wars universe. I enjoyed the look and feel of what a suburban town looks like in this world because we’ve never actually seen it. The town they come from reminded me more of the neighborhood from E.T. than anything we’ve seen on the shows recently. The four main characters are typical but enjoyable, each with their own clearly defined roles in the group and the actors play them well. The pirate vibe isn’t necessarily something we’ve seen before and adds a slightly spooky element and an air of danger. If this were an 80s movie, would fit in well. Enjoying it so far because of the new storytelling elements in the Star Wars universe, the hint of nostalgia for the movies from my childhood, and the fact that I can share this Star Wars experience with my kids.
